How self-destructive Israel can be

By freeing Marwan Barghouti with all the other Hamas and Fatah prisoners, Israel will cause the only man charismatic enough to be able to do so to unite the Palestinian people – Fatah and Hamas into one.

Hamas will become the controlling factor in all upcoming negotiations with Israel, and will possibly also be the winner in future elections among the Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

The formerly-held red line – “no release of prisoners directly involved with the murder of Israeli citizens” – will have been crossed, stimulating suicide and other terrorists to widen their activity, especially in the kidnapping of any Israeli they may be able to capture.

God sacrificed His only begotten Son to save the world. (“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”)

Noam Schalit understandably loves his son so much; he is apparently willing to sacrifice some of the best interests of his own people and nation in order to save Gilad from his torturous ordeal.

Israel’s government, however, has to do what is right in the sight of God, not just for Gilad but for her its people. The deal in the works – if it includes Barghouti – will certainly not further the well-being and security of the people of Israel.

On the contrary, it may lead to a Hamas-led independent state under the leadership of Barghouti, which will without question be used to further dismantle the State of Israel.

When Israel’s government let Yasser Arafat slip through its fingers – when they had him practically surrounded in Beirut – Israel itself, by letting Arafat go, caused him to become the respected Palestinian leader with whom they then had to deal in Oslo and other places. Thus did they put Israel on the mortally dangerous road towards an independent Palestinian state!

Now, with Israel for a second time about to make this same mistake, that state may well become a reality under the leadership of a Barghouti; another terrorist chief set free by the self-destructive Israelis.

It is as the prophet once spoke to a weak leader of Israel:

“Thus says the LORD, because you have let slip out of your hand a man who I had appointed to utter destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life AND YOUR PEOPLE FOR HIS PEOPLE.” (1 Kings 20:42 emphasis added.)

WHAT UTTER DECEPTION! THE PLO REJECTS ALL PEACE DEALS.

The PLO was instituted in 1964 three years before the six day war in June 1967 when Israel, in a war of self-defense, recovered the so-called “West Bank”, now seen and proclaimed by nearly everybody as the quintessence crux of the Middle East problem.
This however shows that the PLO (All Palestine needs to be liberated) was not formed to erect a Palestinian state on the ‘so called’ West Bank but was instituted to replace all of Israel with a Muslim Palestinian State.

The New Testament Basis for the Restoration of Israel

Jesus was asked by His disciples whether He would restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, to which He replied:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
