It is not true that Israel will lose its Jewish character by annexing Judea and Samaria!Where is the famed intellect, I wonder – amazed – when I read the often spouted utter nonsense of some leftist Israeli politicians and educators, as they “reason” that the only way to solve the Israel-Palestinian conflict is to divide this already little land into two separate states?

Addressing the annual conference of the Institute for National Security Studies last week Israeli President Shimon Peres “insisted that security is not the issue.”

“The only issue is for Israel to remain a Jewish and democratic state, and this can be achieved only by ceding territory and having two states – a Jewish State and a Palestinian State, living side by side in peace and harmony,” he reportedly said. (The Jerusalem Post, January 30, 2014)

This line of reasoning – that failure to agree to the creation of a separate Palestinian state will result in Israel eventually losing its Jewish character – is in fact a front (or cover) for the very opposite. When we look at the typical Israeli city of Tel Aviv, for example, there is very little “Jewishness” to see. Peres himself is on record as disparaging the importance of history, and he would find it nearly impossible to define what “Jewishness” for the truncated State of Israel he is so worried about.

The fact is that clear and unequivocal answers that can be made to the leftists’ professed ‘fears’ of a future loss of the Jewishness of Israel. Some suggestions:

  • Keep Judea and Samaria. These are disputed areas and not “occupied territories” despite the fact that the entire world labels them as occupied in its insistence that, in their war of self defense, the Israelis seized territories that did not belong to her. Jerusalem’s official position on this must be changed and then adhered to: That Israel liberated its own promised land from the illegal Jordanian occupation; an occupation which lasted from 1948 to the Six Day War in 1967, and which was rejected as illegitimate by the whole of the international community except for Britain and Pakistan.
  • In no way fear a demographic problem arising out of keeping all Samaria and Judea. Instead, face it vigorously with the following measures:
    • Make bringing Jews home from all over the world a top governmental priority, with an upgraded Ministry of Aliyah fielding the best candidates to explain abroad the need for Jews to immigrate.
    • Stimulate natural population growth by providing financial assistance to large families. Where possible, make an overall effort to counsel against the evil of abortion, so that the tens of thousands of Jewish children that are being aborted every year will live – to be adopted if need be by Israeli families who would love to have children of their own.
  • End all distinctions between those wishing to be loyal citizens of the Jewish State of Israel, imposing on all the same obligations, and according all the same rights. This includes the duty to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Such a move may cause a voluntary exodus of many Muslim Arabs now living in Israel with Israeli passports. A great number would in all likelihood refuse to serve in “the Jewish Army” to defend a state which, in their heart of hearts, they wish to see become a Muslim-controlled Palestinian state. Their departure will free Israel from those who would otherwise use their citizenship to undermine the very state they are part of.
  • As Ambassador Yoram Ettinger and others like Paul Morland of the University of London’s Birkbeek College** have amply documented, there is in the foreseeable future no, (I repeat no!) demographic danger that will stem from Israel’s desire to hold on to all her G-d given land.

Ten subjects to be covered:

  1.  The PLO was formed in 1964, three years before the outbreak of the 1967 Six Day War. That is to say, the PLO was not formed to retrieve the so-called ‘West Bank,’ but to liberate “Israel proper” for the Muslims and Palestinians.
  2. The Muslims and their Palestinian brothers themselves created the Palestinian refugee problem by rejecting the UN initiated partition plan and by urging the Palestinians to flee from Israel, and they should therefore shoulder the responsibility of resolving it. Books that document this include: From Time Immemorial by Joan Peters.
  3.  With the creation of the State of Israel, a double exodus took place: Jews were expelled from Arab lands, and Arabs were dislocated from Israel.
  4. There is a strong biblical and historical basis for the Jewish claim to their divinely promised and historical land.
  5.  Apart from this, there is ample legal basis – according to international law and treaties – that the Jewish people are not illegally occupying anyone else’s land. See book of Howard Grief The Legal Foundation And Borders Of Israel Under International Law
  6. The Jews of Israel, in a war of self-defense they did not look for or want, ended the 19-year illegal Jordanian occupation of their own historic land when they took Judea and Samaria. If the world’s nations can insist that Israel forfeit this territory, then all lands lost through wars of belligerence should be returned to the aggressors.
  7. Because the vast majority of Muslims and Arabs still refuse to accept a Jewish democratic state in their Muslim midst and view the current Western-aided peace process as a means of obliterating that Jewish state, no politician of worth and character should ask Israel to concede anything to enable the realization of this Hitler-like goal.
  8. With rising Islamization in many European and other countries, it would be categorically shortsighted and selfish for any Israeli government to surrender the historic lands of Judea and Samaria to sworn enemies. Doing so would see the loss of the only remaining land to which potentially millions of Jews could escape in the near future from intensifying pressure “out there.”
  9. Given that Israel’s withdrawals from southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip led directly to the strengthening of two terrorist entities – Hizbollah and Hamas – only a fool would advise Israel’s government to repeat this stupidity by giving away the “West Bank” in which a third terrorist entity would be established to finish off what would then be left of little Israel.
  10. With the increase in anti-Semitism the world over resulting in the near future in a massive ‘coming home’ or aliyah by many Jews there is no need for Israel to fear ever being out-populated in their own historic land by Arabs. Well did the prophet Isaiah foresee this day: For your waste and desolate places, and the land of your destruction, will even now be too small for the inhabitants; and those who swallowed you up will be far away. The children you will have, after you have lost the others, will say again in your ears, ‘The place is too small for me; give me a place where I may dwell.’ (Isaiah 49:19-20)

The West will pay a heavy price for once again being unwilling to stand up for Israel’s survival. Islamic philosophy is crystal clear to all dedicated Muslims: coexistence with other faiths is impossible – only a temporary truce is permitted until the whole world is governed under Sharia Law.

The only two nations that till recently were strong enough to resist such an ISLAMIC takeover were the US and Israel, which is why, from the perspective of this ISLAMIC drive, they were rightly called the big Satan and the little Satan.

Over the years Muslims have thus been heard chanting the refrain: “First we shall fight the Saturday people and then we shall fight the Sunday people.”

Most of the European nations have already lost that which made them strong and healthy democracies, exchanging their Judeo-Christian heritage for a multiculturalism that has been viciously exploited by Muslims who now are en route to becoming the dominant force in most these countries. Infiltrated as they have been, and increasingly severed from the roots of their own heritage and history, these rudderless nations have little power or spirit to resist their gradual takeover and subjugation.

ISLAM, then, has an easy day; it uses the institutions of human rights and cultural tolerance to advance its sinister takeover plan, as is already seen in Brussels, Malmö, Leicester and many other cities in Europe. Soon America will follow, not helped by its present Muslim-loving President Barak Hussein Obama, who in his public speeches refers to the “holy Quran” rather than to the Scriptures that formed the basis for those who founded the United States.

In the light of all this, one would have thought that any patriotic resident of his nation would stand up and fervently fight for the only nation which, by its plucky resolve to not face another holocaust – this time by the Nazi-like forces of radical ISLAM – is at least at this moment in history somewhat standing in the way of that would-be conquering power. For ISLAM – after Israel’s demise – seeks to occupy and swallow up the last unconquered free world.

May God raise up enough politicians of moral character and courage to prevent this!

Is it the old anti-Semitism that has the Jewish nation today subjected to a hypocritical double standard? Or is it just fear of, and cowardice towards, the Muslims and their ever- ready threats of terror and oil embargoes that cause most nations to again abandon the Jewish people to today’s ever-growing threat of extinction at the hands of their many Muslim enemies? Otherwise why, when Holocaust deniers are generally judged by Western nations as ‘persona non grata,’ is Abu Mazen (AKA Mahmoud Abbas) – whose thesis is in Holocaust denial – treated with kid gloves and praised as a worthy moderate and a peace partner for Israel, which he still refuses to accept as a Jewish nation? Why can he glorify the beastly killers of innocent Jewish men women and children and get away with it as the West’s darling Palestinian “moderate?”

Why are the nations ever ready to demand enormous and painful concessions “to give peace a chance” – calling for the freeing of dangerous murderers and terrorists when the United States, after 29 years, refuses Israel’s many requests to free one man from prison, Jonathan Pollard, who never even killed one American?

Why do the nations never bring any significant pressure to bear on the PA leadership that even today is willing to bring back Iran (and the Hamas) as their partner, making it clear to all normal Israelis that the present Palestinian management has no wish for real peace, but is only intent on misusing the docile western wish for a peace agreement in order to obtain ‘the West Bank’ as a springboard for Israel’s destruction.

This is the same world that crowned a liar and deceiver with the Nobel Peace Prize when he never intended to keep his promise to Israel as he himself boasted on Jordan TV on the very day he (Yasser Arafat) made that promise:

“Since we cannot defeat Israel in war we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine and establish a sovereignty there, and we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel.”

No wonder even Ariel Sharon called him a pathological liar that NEVER kept any of his promises. And yet the world believed him, as it believed did President Bashar Assad before he cruelly turned on his own people – and the world maintained that in Arafat and Assad, Israel had worthy peace partners to whom she could safely hand over “the territories” and the Golan!!

Is there any other explanation for this than anti-Semitism on the part of the international community, and utter blindness and foolishness on the part of those Jewish Israelis who have fallen into this trap?

Over and above all of this there is another, more elevated reason for being extremely careful concerning these things, especially for those who believe that we are not just talking about legal rights and politics, (although as we have seen from what has been written before, even these stand at the side of the truth written by the hand and inspiration of God.) The Lord says that those who touch His people touch “the apple of His eye.” And He warns that serious consequences await every one, and especially those nations who fail to understand this.

Here are some of these divine warnings:

Judgment on the nations and individuals because of their failure to stand up for Israel

Nations

For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined. (Isaiah 60:12)

Come near, you nations, to hear; and heed, you people! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world and all things that come forth from it. For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations, and His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter. Also their slain shall be thrown out; their stench shall rise from their corpses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; all their host shall fall down as the leaf falls from the vine, and as fruit falling from a fig tree. “For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; indeed it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse, for judgment. The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made overflowing with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. The wild oxen shall come down with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust saturated with fatness.” For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion. Its streams shall be turned into pitch, and its dust into brimstone; its land shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night or day; its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; no one shall pass through it forever and ever. (Isaiah34:1-10)

‘Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob,’ says the Lord, ‘nor be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet, and no one shall make him afraid. For I am with you,’ says the Lord, ‘to save you; though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a complete end of you. But I will correct you in justice, and will not let you go altogether unpunished.’ (Jeremiah 30:10-11)

“Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord. Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.” For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me. (Zechariah 2:6-9)

“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ‘ (Ezekiel 38:18-23)

And I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,” says the Lord God. “This is the day of which I have spoken. (Ezekiel 39:6-8)

And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. It shall come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand; Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. Such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all the cattle that will be in those camps. So shall this plague be. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:12-16)

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land. … Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord. “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow– for their wickedness is great.” Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; the heavens and earth will shake; but the Lord will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall ever pass through her again.” (Joel 3:1-2, 9-17)

Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength?– “I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” Why is Your apparel red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress? “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes. For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. I looked, but there was no one to help, and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; and My own fury, it sustained Me. I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, made them drunk in My fury, and brought down their strength to the earth.” (Isaiah 63:1-6)

Individuals

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:13-14)

Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3)

Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned back. Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up, with which the reaper does not fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his arms. Neither let those who pass by them say, “The blessing of the Lord be upon you; we bless you in the name of the Lord!” (Psalm 129:5-8)

But those who bless God’s people will be blessed by Him, as is seen in the case of Rahab.

And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had. So she dwells in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. (Joshua 6:25)

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:10-13)

WHAT UTTER DECEPTION! THE PLO REJECTS ALL PEACE DEALS.

The PLO was instituted in 1964 three years before the six day war in June 1967 when Israel, in a war of self-defense, recovered the so-called “West Bank”, now seen and proclaimed by nearly everybody as the quintessence crux of the Middle East problem.
This however shows that the PLO (All Palestine needs to be liberated) was not formed to erect a Palestinian state on the ‘so called’ West Bank but was instituted to replace all of Israel with a Muslim Palestinian State.

A Word From Zion

The New Testament Basis for the Restoration of Israel

Jesus was asked by His disciples whether He would restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, to which He replied:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
