Is ISLAM really a peaceful religion?

By Jan Willem Van der Hoeven|

Just because somebody believes in his religion or philosophic outlook does not – I repeat – does not oblige the rest of mankind to tolerate or accept it as something that needs to be defended at all cost.

The Nazis – at least many of them – held to their abhorrent hate filled ideology, also based on the philosophies of the Thule Society, in a near passionate religious fervor.

The New Testament Basis for the Restoration of Israel

By voyage|

Jesus was asked by His disciples whether He would restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, to which He replied:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

Israel has been surrounded for years since her inception with fierce hatred by the nations surrounding her and by many of the Palestinians as well.

Yes, it is true Jesus elevated the law and the prophets when He during the Sermon on the Mount spoke these words:

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.

Will Obama Become the Appointed Leader of this World?

By voyage|

Will the Republican Party win back the White House only to see their nation come progressively under the sway and influence of the emergent world government?  Does the aspiration of their present president, Barak Hussein Obama, to become the next secretary-general of the United Nations portend the ominous danger of him using that position to see America joined to this new world order and being rendered an increasingly colourless socialist nation, remote from its unique Judeo-Christian foundations?

The threat and danger look real!

What is the hope for the Middle East?

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria--a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, "Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance." (Isaiah 19:23-25)
This region quoted by the prophet Isaiah includes the primary terrain where most of the recorded Biblical stories occurred.

Mobilization for war

Fight the good fight of faith. (1 Timothy 6:12)

We were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. (2 Corinthians 7:5)

Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. (2 Kings 6:16)

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

"I think that anyone who is going to establish a Palestinian state today and evacuate lands is giving attack grounds to radical Islam against the state of Israel." - Benjamin Netanyahu' actual, documented pre-election statement that has been blatantly misreported by the media as the prime minister's rejection of a two state solution, a falsification deliberately perpetuated by Barack Obama.

With the rash of recent recriminations concerning the ostensible flip-flop of Israel's prime minister, conveyed through the disseminated misrepresentation of his pre-election remark (above), that he will not agree to the creation of a Palestinian state on his watch, and

This defense of Israel by the United States Republican Senator Marco Rubio is so magnificent that I believe we all should do our best to spread it as much as possible.

ISLAM a peaceful religion?

By Jan Willem Van der Hoeven|

How can people continue to insist - in the face of the recent wave of awful massacres, inhumane terrorist attacks etc that have without exception been perpetrated in the name of Allah and ISLAM - that the religion of ISLAM is itself peaceful and that it is only ‘radical’ or ‘jihadist’ ISLAM that is the problem?

What do these people do with the more than 50 wars Mohammed fought to spread his faith and to establish its path?
