Syria and Iran Sign Pact to Resist Int?l Pressure, Hide Weapons

Syria has agreed to store Iran’s nuclear material, and Iran will grant asylum to Syrian officials implicated in the murder of former Lebanese PM Rafik Harriri, according to Jane’s Defence Weekly.

According to the London-based defense magazine, the two counties signed a strategic accord to help each other resist international pressure regarding their weapons programs and misdeeds.

Jane’s quoted diplomatic sources saying that Syria has agreed to store Iranian materials and weapons if the United Nations imposes sanctions upon the Islamic state. The sources said that Iran committed to protecting any Syrian intelligence officers indicted by the UN or Lebanon.

“The sensitive chapter in the accord includes Syria’s commitment to allow Iran to safely store weapons, sensitive equipment or even hazardous materials on Syrian soil should Iran need such help in a time of crisis,” Jane’s said.

Another aspect of the agreement that directly affects Israel is that Syria committed itself to continue to supply the Iranian-sponsored Hizballah terror group with weapons, ammunition and other equipment.

Hizballah currently has 15,000 missiles and rockets that it received from Iran deployed on Lebanon?s border with Israel.

Also affecting the Jewish State is an Iranian commitment to supply Syria with the technology necessary to produce weapons of mass destruction and provide training to the Syrian army. Iran would upgrade Syrian ballistic missiles as well as chemical weapons systems, according to Jane’s, and has even agreed to operate “advanced weapon systems in Syria during a military confrontation.?

Could it truly be that Syria which, as some have reported, hid weapons of mass destruction on behalf of Iraq?s Saddam Hussein, is now planning to do this for the ruler of Iran? How blind can many of today?s political leaders be ? in the final analysis ? to their own hurt and detriment?

By not reacting to Adolf Hitler in time, Europe and the West brought the horrors and mass destruction of the Second World War on themselves. For they sought to talk to and appease the Nazi leader rather than to confront him militarily when there was still time to stop him.

So by not being firm with Iran and its Hitler-like president, and by not being willing to really confront the murderous and terrorist-supporting Assad regime in Damascus, and instead forcing Israel to give up more territory to the equally megalomaniac and increasingly dangerous HAMAS-ruled Palestinian Arabs, the West is asking for another world war!

L?histoire se repete as the French say. History repeats itself.

In the excellent and insightful booklet, Czechoslovakia 1938 ? Israel Today, written by my friend Arie Stav, I read:

On September 12, in a speech to the Nazi party conference at Nuremberg, Hitler attacked Czechoslovakia and its president in particular, in his notorious gutter style. The Czechs, who were both well fortified in their Sudeten Mountains and relied on their military pact with France, reacted with a series of steps. The most determined of them were the dismissal of Milan Hodza as prime minister (September 22) and the setting up of a national unity government headed by General Jan Syrovy, the chief inspector of the army and a prominent ?Hawk? in the concepts of those days. The Czech army broadened the draft of the reserves, and military government was imposed on the Sudetenland. Henlein and his men fled to Berlin. Hasty steps of escalation chased away one after the other. The feeling in Europe was that a war was coming.

At this critical stage, the two official allies of Czechoslovakia rushed to Hitler?s aid. These were the prime ministers of the two great democracies of the continent, France and Britain. Both Neville Chamberlain and Edouard Daladier accused the Prague government of fouling the atmosphere in Europe by ill-treating the German minority. In London as well as Paris, full understanding was expressed for Hitler?s desire to unify his people under the shelter of the Third Reich, just as he had done not long before with Austria. The European press consistently described the Czechs? abuse of the German minority, and Benes was presented as an obstacle to peace and a warmonger. It was explained to the Czechs, both in speeches in the French and British parliaments, and in the press that handing over the Sudetenland to Germany would bring them only good, since in that way they would be rid of a large, militant minority that endangered the Slavic character of their state. The Czechs claimed that handing over the Sudetenland to Germany would expose their country?s defense system to Hitler?s armies. In response to that argument, they were told that in the age of peace there was no value to territorial assets, and in any case the two major powers were ready to guarantee Czechoslovakia?s integrity in its new borders.

Does this sound familiar? We all know what happened in the end to this courageous, plucky independent nation of Czechoslovakia! It was overrun by Hitler?s Nazi forces. The ceding of that part of Czechoslovakia ? Sudetenland ? which the Germans claimed, became the bridgehead for the further conquest of all of Czechoslovakia. Will this also happen to Israel? By ceding part of her own historic land ? Judea and Samaria ? under unbelievable pressure of the nations ? to her enemies ? will also this give them the desired bridgehead to conquer all of Israel?

Yet the so called Israel-friendly powers are telling Israel to cede part of their own territory, Judea and Samaria, to the Nazi-like Muslim Arabs in order to secure peace for this troubled region and world. Thus, by placating the implacable Muslims with a ?piece? of Israel, the rest of Israel will be endangered to the will of Israel?s enemies just as Sudetenland was in being sacrificed to Hitler. Will it not activate the desire of the Muslims to conquer then Israel fully and afterwards threaten ? as Hitler did ? the whole world?

Thus by forcing Czechoslovakia to sacrifice their own Sudetenland to the Germans, the Western powers brought about the fall of their strongest democratic ally and encouraged Hitler and the Nazis by their weakness to unleash the second world war upon them.

Likewise today again, by the utter folly and weakness of the West, this time in relation to Israel ? history may soon repeat itself. May this time at least Israel be wiser.

WHAT UTTER DECEPTION! THE PLO REJECTS ALL PEACE DEALS.

The PLO was instituted in 1964 three years before the six day war in June 1967 when Israel, in a war of self-defense, recovered the so-called “West Bank”, now seen and proclaimed by nearly everybody as the quintessence crux of the Middle East problem.
This however shows that the PLO (All Palestine needs to be liberated) was not formed to erect a Palestinian state on the ‘so called’ West Bank but was instituted to replace all of Israel with a Muslim Palestinian State.

A Word From Zion

The New Testament Basis for the Restoration of Israel

Jesus was asked by His disciples whether He would restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, to which He replied:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
