Prophecy in our Day

We live in days of almost unprecedented coming to pass of biblical prophecy. For the past five plus decades, Israel has been the focal point of prophetic fulfillment as most of the events foretold in the bulk of Scripture have been set to take place here.

But end-time events are poised to impact the whole globe; all of mankind. The September 11, 2001 attacks on the mainland United States are the clearest up-to-date example of these.

More are to come, the Bible tell us, many, many more.

Still, for the immediate future (and of course, ultimately), Israel will remain at center stage. Indeed, since within mere days of September 11, an enormous effort has been made to link the attacks to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with astounding results. President George W. Bush has come out more than once in open support of a Palestinian state – the first Republican leader to do so. British Prime Minister Tony Blair has (less surprisingly) made it his business to push a return to the Oslo process as a top priority for the international coalition against terrorism.

Both England and the United States will pay a price for this attempt to sacrifice Israel on the altar of political expediency.

As the world as we know it shakes with increasing force, the need is urgent for us to go back to the Bible for a better understanding of these events, and where they are leading to.

WHAT UTTER DECEPTION! THE PLO REJECTS ALL PEACE DEALS.

The PLO was instituted in 1964 three years before the six day war in June 1967 when Israel, in a war of self-defense, recovered the so-called “West Bank”, now seen and proclaimed by nearly everybody as the quintessence crux of the Middle East problem.
This however shows that the PLO (All Palestine needs to be liberated) was not formed to erect a Palestinian state on the ‘so called’ West Bank but was instituted to replace all of Israel with a Muslim Palestinian State.

The New Testament Basis for the Restoration of Israel

Jesus was asked by His disciples whether He would restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, to which He replied:
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
