Feast Overview

OVERVIEW OF FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2023

Ezekiel 37 – It is time for the two sticks to become ONE in HIS hand!

Calling the sons of God to come and celebrate God’s covenantal faithfulness to Israel and to prophetically manifest the Ephraim and Judah – the two sticks becoming one in His hand!

The uniqueness of the miracle of Israel is that historically it is the only nation ever that was out of her land for 1900 years and regained it.  Against all historic odds Israel was reborn in one day in May 1948!

Zechariah 9:17

And the Lord their God will save them in that day
as the flock of his people;
for they are as the stones of a crown, sparkling in his land.

The Israeli’s are turning the land into an oasis and those who have had the privilege to tour this land have seen with their own eyes that they are as stones of a crown sparkling in HIS land!

So how do we side with God and Israel in 2023 to celebrate the historic milestones of His faithfulness?  We desire to spend seven days of joy but also of prophetic purpose in Israel!

Our programme is filled with interaction with the Israeli’s to comfort them that God is with them and will never leave them.  We will have festive celebrations in the ancient historic Hinnom Valley.  This unique experience in a grande sukkah at the foot of Mount Zion is characterised by the strong presence of the Lord in our midst as we praise, worship and dance before the KING!
Here we will prophetically manifest the two sticks becoming one in His hand, presenting the nations to King of Glory in the valley of Hinnom, made fit for a King!

More than any other year we focus on the covenantal promise that God gave this land to Israel!  We will visit some key places that are a testimony of the covenant and faithfulness of God.  We will put our feet in Hebron to celebrate God’s faithfulness to the Patriarchs.  Genesis 23 tells how Abraham, then living nearby at Mamre, bought the land containing the Cave of Machpelah to use as a burial place.  He paid Ephron the Hittite the full market price — 400 shekels of silver.  Here lies Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and Leah.  Also close by lies Ruth – how prophetic that this gentile who took hold of the sleeve of a Jew, Naomi, is buried close to Israel’s Patriarchs, fulfilling the very promises of the oath she took to stand with God’s people Israel, as indeed today, many gentile believers have done in fulfilment of Zechariah 8:23.

Jan Willem van der Hoeven who is the founder of the ICEJ and ICZC has walked for over 40 years with the vision of the two sticks coming together in his heart.  When he opened the Christian Embassy in 1978 an old Jewish man came to him with two sticks and said; “This is your calling, to bring Judah and Ephraim together” – the same happened again when Jan Willem opened the Christian Zionist Center in 1996.

It is time for us to prophetically manifest Ezekiel 37 in the Hinnom Valley during the Feast, the two sticks becoming one in His hand.  That is why we are calling the sons, the first peoples of the nations and all those who carry the highways of Zion in their heart to come up to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles 2023.

Calling the firstborn nations to Jerusalem!

Israel is the firstborn nation unto God! But God also has firstborn nations, the first people’s in all the continents and according to the scriptures there are several special blessings only on the firstborn!  The do for instance have a double portion blessing and they are dedicated to God!  For 2023 there is a call to all the firstborn nations to come and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and bring a gift of worship to the King!  Come and also meet eye to eye with God’s firstborn of all the nations, Israel, when the remnant of the firstborn nations gather together to worship the King of Glory in Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles in the ancient Hinnom Valley at the foot of Mount Zion.  Come and walk the ancient path in the same way King David walked when he brought the Ark of the Presence to Mount Zion.  What an historic time and place to welcome the King of Glory back into Jerusalem.

Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai!
