Beginning September 9, the United States Senate and Congress, in response to the request of President Barack Obama, will deliberate and vote on whether or not to punish Syria's Bashar Assad for using chemical weapons on his people.
Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment-- this honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 149:5-9)
According to Psalm 149, all believers have the right, the divine right, to decree judgment in the Name of the Lord.

Mindful of the dire curses Moses said would come upon the Israelites if they forsook the God of their fathers, a prophet by the name of Hosea arose among the ten northern tribes, who had completely turned their backs on the Lord.
Hosea put them on notice that their time had run out. God would no longer have mercy on them, would no longer call them His people; they were to be destroyed - forever.
Hosea was instructed to marry a prostitute, Gomer, symbolizing Israel's unfaithfulness to her Husband - the LORD.
